Detailed review of the GT73 PRO

I ordered the GT73 PRO Electric Motorbike and received it about eight days later. The bike was mostly assembled, which was a relief; I only had to attach a few minor parts. The quality of the components, like the hydraulic disc brakes and full suspension, is noticeable. It handles rougher terrain well and the 3000W motor gets up to speed very quickly. I've been using it for my daily commute and some weekend trail riding. The display is clear and easy to read. The only thing I noticed was that the instruction manual could be a bit more detailed on assembly steps, but I figured it out. Customer service responded within a day when I had a question about battery charging, which was helpful.

Great value on the GT73 PRO

I was looking for a high-performance electric motorbike and found the GT73 PRO. Compared to other brands, the price was really competitive, especially with a discount I found. It feels like a solid investment. The 60V 36.4Ah battery provides excellent range, which was a big selling point for me. Definitely felt like I got a lot for my money.

Really happy with my purchase

Got the GT73 PRO Electric Motorbike last week. It's super fun to ride, really zippy. The whole ordering process was easy, and it got here quicker than I thought it would. No complaints at all, just a cool bike that makes commuting way more enjoyable.

Decent ebike, minor issue

The Z8 Moped-Style Electric Bike I bought is pretty good overall. It has plenty of power and the battery life is solid. Shipping took 5 days to reach Denver, which was reasonable. My only complaint is that one of the electric bike pedals felt a little loose when it arrived. I tightened it myself, but it would have been nice for it to be perfect out of the box. Still, good value for the money.

do they ship the bikes fully assembled? or am i gonna be spending all day putting it together like ikea furniture?

M Megan Q. 2 months ago
Mine came mostly assembled, just had to put on the front wheel, handlebars, and pedals. Took maybe 30-45 minutes. Not bad at all.

No, it's not fully assembled but it's not a huge job. Just some basic stuff, they give you the tools. Took me less than an hour for the Z8S.

is riding'times a legit company or some random drop-shipper? i see their ads everywhere but never heard of them before.

L Laura Z. 1 month ago
They're legit, dude. I got my GT73 PRO from them and it's awesome. Customer service was responsive when I had a question too.

Yeah, they're real. My friend got a cafe racer from them a few months ago and loves it. Batteries are UL certified too, so seems pretty solid.

what's the deal with returns? if i get one and it's not what i expected, can i send it back?

B Beth Doyle 1 month ago
They have a return policy, but you gotta make sure it's unused and in the original packaging. There might be a restocking fee too, so check their site for the exact details before you buy.

yeah returns were easy, did it last month. Just contact them within 14 days, no riding it though. Shipping back was on me.

thinking about getting one of these but worried about delivery. how long does it usually take to get to, say, LA?

M Marcus Walsh 2 months ago
Mine took about 8 business days to get to me in San Diego. They ship from the US so it's not like waiting for a container ship.

I'm in NorCal and got my Z8S in about a week and a half, maybe 9 business days total. Wasn't too bad.

how do these compare to a Super73? i'm torn between the Z8S and a Super73 R series.

B Beth E. 2 months ago
I looked at both. The Z8S felt a bit more powerful for the price point, especially with the dual battery option. Super73 is cool but you pay for the brand name a bit.

C Chris K. 2 months ago
I'd say the Z8S has better suspension and range specs than a comparable Super73 for less cash. If you care about raw power and battery life, Riding'times wins.

are riding'times bikes actually street legal? like, can I register it and ride it around without getting pulled over?

P Paula 2 months ago
The cafe racer style ones like the Z8S, yeah, those are usually classified as e-bikes. The bigger motorbikes, you'd probably need to check your local DMV for moped/motorcycle rules. Some of those 3000W ones push it for just an 'e-bike' classification.

My Z8 Moped-Style is fine here in AZ, no issues. The super powerful ones might be a grey area depending on state laws.

Hey, I'm looking at the GT73 PRO. How fast does that thing actually go? Their site says 50mph but is that like, under ideal conditions or for real?

M Mike Reyes 2 months ago
Yeah, 50mph is legit. I hit it on a flat road with no wind, not even full throttle. It's quick.

R Rachel 2 months ago
Mine definitely tops out around there. Might depend a bit on your weight and if you're going uphill, but it's a beast.

does riding'times ever do any big sales? i'm trying to snag a GT54 PRO but $3k is kinda steep right now.

C Colin 2 months ago
Oh yeah, they always have something around holidays. Black Friday and Cyber Monday were pretty good last year, and I think they did a Father's Day one too. Keep an eye out.

Sign up for their newsletter for sure, sometimes they send out a first order discount. And they usually have sales for Christmas or spring clearance too. Might save you a few hundred.
